RPG War Game Terrain, Obstacles and Scenery

FOW Terrain

What is New?

Videos? - I want to thank everyone for watching. Here is a link to thekamloopian on youtube, there is a fair amount of info in them, albeit a tad disorganized.

I think I have the navigation problems fixed. - Yes, I know it is hard to find things. There is a custom search on each page and I need to type out more howto projects (why I like doing videos - they're much easier). Speaking of videos I very much appreciate the support I've been getting, thanks eh. Especially all of the camera issue empathy, sympathy, and stuff.

Diorama and Display dept. - Anybody wants to write articles for the site here and try to keep the information flowing send them to me and I'll post them.

If you want to know what that GOOP stuff I talk about is. Here is a link.

Custom Game Pieces and Terrain

The ol' website has gone through quite a few changes in the past. As most of you know, the last few years I was devoted primarily to making gaming terrain. But I don't have the space anymore to make it on a production scale. I still like making stuff, but other than the various Kits and the pieces I will have on the Sale Items page or pieces in The White Elephant or, on the rare occasion, an auction I will be somewhat selective in taking custom orders. Anybody who has purchased from me in the past I'll always work with.

But, you can still contact me, I'm just kind of busy that's all. (After all, this is a one man show)

I will however be starting up again after the workshop is finished, (summer-fall 2008 or 09,), or maybe after it warms up in the spring. It is just too cold outside to make terrain.

In the meantime, drop me a note, idea, picture of your work. I'd like to include others ideas in the site.

About my "How to make wargame terrain videos"

So, what can I say, yes everything is a little chaotic in the videos. 'skay, just the way it is.

It must run in the genes as you can tell from the pic of my son and grandson.

In the genes, eh.

Get help, give help - it works better that way.

OR

Download some siege equipment blueprints. I have a trebuchet and a siege tower there so far.

Note: Helping to get you the How To info? So far the easiest and more informative method has been the videos on youtube. Need a camera to do it though. I could try and start building, but nobody wants to pay the postage costs. I don't charge extra, in fact I take a loss in the shipping dept. on every item I've sent. But Canadapost charges so much small businesses here can't compete with the rest of the world.

So, unless I can get 1% of my 1,000 visitors a day to donate a couple of dollars. Or an advertisor or two (or twenty with the very cheap price I'm charging for that.) I'll have to go back to the static webpage format, which I seem to have trouble updating as it takes a bit to build, photo shoot, write the articles, then do the webpage work. ...more>
